A prepaid bundle of camper hire days on the Mystery Machine (2-berth) that you can use within 12 months, split across multiple trips if you like — instead of a single fixed booking. All passes include damage cover. Pickup and return from our six standard hubs (Cairns, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, and Hobart) with nothing more to pay. Access to Perth and Darwin are available as an add-on when you book.
The Flexi Pass includes 30 prepaid camper hire days. Book directly online — you have 12 months to use them.
Standard pickup and return hubs are in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Cairns, Adelaide, and Hobart. One-way drop-offs may be available between those cities, except for Hobart. The one-way fee is typically $250 — confirm when you book. Perth and Darwin are available with an add-on when you book online. They are return-hire only — one-way pickup or drop-off in or out of Perth or Darwin is not available.
Where you can drive is defined by the permitted zone on the map. A standard Flexi Pass covers travel within 500 km of the coast between Cairns and Adelaide, and all of Tasmania. With the Perth & Darwin Access add-on, you can also travel in the Perth and Darwin regions shown on the map. If you are unsure whether your route is inside the permitted zone before you book, contact our travel team to confirm.
This is a better value, and more flexible option than a regular camper hire. Save money by paying upfront, and use your days in any combination over the next 12 months. Avoid peak-season surcharges and other hidden fees. Use your pass to pickup up from any of our locations with nothing more to pay
No. You have 12 months to use your included days, so you can spread them across several getaways.
Absolutely.Passes are fully transferable, so you can sell or gift your pass and any remaining days to family or friends. The original pass holder must contact us to initiate a transfer to another person.
Yes, you are covered for accidental damage to the van. Subject to the terms and conditions of the rental agreement, your maximum liability for any incident is capped at $1.
The Flexi Pass is a fixed-price product with no peak-season surcharges, meaning you can use your days at any time of the year without paying additional fees (except if you choose a one-way drop-off at another hub — typically a $250 fee where offered; confirm when you book).
Any licensed drivers aged 18 and over can drive the Mystery Machine, however, all drivers will need to have signed a rental contract and provided a valid driver's licence prior to pickup.
